Marketplace Capital — Obsessed With Marketplaces
Marketplace Capital is an early-stage venture capital fund focused exclusively on marketplaces and network-effect businesses. We invest $100K–$250K in pre-seed, seed, and early-stage marketplace founders across healthcare, consumer, the future of work, and AI.
Investment Thesis
When marketplaces work, they create the largest outcomes in all of venture investing, yet they are enormously difficult to build. We spot breakout marketplaces early, including the next generation of AI-powered marketplaces, and help founders build them into category-defining companies.
The Strategy
We are the most dedicated fund in the space, with the largest community of marketplace founders and operators. While we primarily invest at the Pre-Seed and Seed stages, we collaborate with marketplace investors at every stage and connect founders to the capital, talent, and support they need to scale.
The Unfair Advantage
Our unfair advantage is the Everything Marketplaces community, paired with proprietary playbooks, resources, and a world-class network. We help founders hire, fundraise, and amplify their announcements at scale.
